EXCITING NEWS!!!

Stampin’ Up just announced a color renovation!!! IT’S AMAZING!!!! Honestly, it’s about time! Some of those old colors have just been collecting dust! And the new colors are GREAT!!! If you’re anything like me, you feel torn that the in-colors, which happen to be some of the best, most stylish colors get retired and never come back. Well guess what!?!? They’re coming back!!!! There are 10 retired in-colors that will be in the core color collections (which are also changing) and 5 BRAND new colors!!! There will also still be 5 new in-colors each year, but they’ll stick around for 2 years instead of just one! So that means next year we’ll have 10 in-colors to choose from. woohoo!

Order your favorite retiring colors while you still have 3 months to stock up on them!

And here are the NEW color collections!!! (Starting July 1st)

Baby Announcements

Baby announcements are nearly done! All 53 of them! Now the baby just needs to be born so I can add a picture and all the important info to the inside!

The giraffe image is from a retired stamp set called Bundle of Joy. I HAD to buy it when it came out and I’ve been waiting to use it! It definitely made planning the baby announcements much easier. On the tag punch, I used the Little Angel set from the occasions mini and colored it with the Stampin’ Write markers. Oh how I love those markers!!! The patterned paper is all from 2 different packs, again, both retired. Sometimes you just have to buy what you love because you’ll use it eventually! Speaking of buying what you love, I LOVE the clearance rack! Some of my favorite DSP is for sale again!!!

Hybrid card

I made this card with My Digital Studio and then added the sweet pea embellishments after I printed it. The “paper” is from the Sweet Pea collection that you can download here for $9.95. LOVE it!!!

Spring!

I know most of the country is still experiencing winter, but for us, SPRING is here!!! I made this card for a friend whose husband is undergoing a stem cell transplant. Hopefully it has given her a little comfort. I also made this card for the PPA challenge (and almost forgot to post it! haha!) Enjoy!

I absolutely love Chocolate Chip and Certainly Celery together! And the Trendy Trees set is adorable!!! It makes for a quick and easy card for ANY occasion.

Merry Christmas Baby!!!

Lauren Meader has some amazing ideas. This is one that is not only cute but useful too! My friend is having a baby boy in December, so I turned these cute onesies into a poinsettia bouquet!

I used My Digital Studio to print the images on iron-on paper. (MDS is by FAR my most favorite scrappin/stampin tool EVER! It is SO worth the price! I keep finding more and more fun things on there!)

Christmas craziness day two

celebrate snowy days

Here’s another Christmas card to add to the pile! The scallop punch is on a dimensional and unfortunately it takes the focus right away. But I still like how it turned out. 🙂 I love this stamp from a retired hostess set The World Over.

Christmas cards

Some people think it’s too early to get into the holiday mood, but I feel like I’m actually late. I don’t know how I’m going to make all my Christmas cards and get them sent in time! I’ll have to make a few a day. Here are two designs I made today. I used two new sets for the first time and I’m loving them!!! Circle Circus (with a 1″ circle punch) for the tree card. I stamped Joy and dusted it in Dazzling Diamonds.  For the step card I used Holy Triptych. It’s such a beautiful set and I don’t think I did it justice. I’m waiting to get those markers that will make the images look MUCH better!!!

O Christmas Tree
